Time for dinner!! Dad has given me fresh delicious zucchini and I found this recipe on Pinterest and thought it sounded SOOOO good. I wanted to give it a try. Here is the freshly grated zucchini and red onion.
Remember, recipes can be modified to what you like. Kale to me, is slightly bitter and I do not like that, so I put in fresh spinach FINELY chopped instead. :)
The parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese is always good. There is flour too and eggs. I skipped the salt thinking that the parmesan might have been salty enough, but it did need a little in the end.
This is what it looks like all together. The recipe is below.

Shape into patties and put a little olive oil in the pan and fry them up until golden brown on each side.

Top with fresh tomatoes or salsa or whatever you might like. These were really really good!!!! Aren't they pretty too? The colors of fresh summer food. Yum!

Some yard and flower pictures

Our roof is not done yet. That is why you see the wood holding down the rubber. BUT, I trimmed bushes this weekend and hung my new hot air balloon spinner which I love! You can see it on the corner there.
Though it is dry here, plants are happy because I am watering. I wish we could get a nice steady stream of rain for a day to give everything a healthy drink.

 Clematis are still in bloom.
The coneflowers are glorious! Love these!
Hibiscus that I planted and bought this year are blooming, but those in the front yard that have been there for 4-5 years are not ready yet. Those are pink and I will show them later in August when they look their best.
Rose of Sharon bushes in our back yard are beginning to bloom. The yellow milk can is from my Grandpa Groshek's farm! <3 p="">
Side fence where we had to build a fence to keep out nasties. The Arborvitae are growing nicely. The tops are near the top of the fence already.
One more angle of the back yard and those beautiful HUGE Rose of Sharon bushes. I hope they stay healthy forever. They are awesome!!!!

Giving an old table a new look

Amber bought this crazy 1970s table at a thrift store. It was less than $3. She sanded the whole thing to just give it a bit of a roughness. It was a lamanent type covering.

She wiped it all down and then masked it off.
She used Krylon Fusion paint and painted the top and then the sides and legs.

She taped on the stencil and used the black to give the top a lovely finish.
 Here is the before.
And the fun after! We will still put a clear coat on it once it dries completely!
A fun project for a fun table. AND it is a turn table, the whole thing spins. Super neat!
