More baby pictures! First, the Robin's nest, see how they are growing! All the beaks are pointing sort of towards the left. Their heads are all pointing that way and they are getting some feather sheaths now. Ooooooooo, so cute!
AND THIS sweet little yellow baby bird landed on our sidewalk. I was able to get close to it to get the shot. Isn't it ADORABLE! Happy birds.......:)

OUR BABY has graduated from the University of WI Milwaukee! Today was the ceremony down town at the US Cellular Arena! Please enjoy a TON of pictures I took. Hehehe, why not right? Also, Amber, Earl and I went to brunch with my parents, Amber's Grandma and Grandpa and it was super nice. It was beautiful outside, with the sunshine and we got some pictures at the Botanic Garden area.

The little neighbor doggie, Dora, came over to wish Amber a happy graduation and say Hi to Rufio. So there are a good mix of pictures from the day! We're so proud of her and I decorated her Graduation hat with a quote that expresses her major; Print Journalism. There were not a lot of decorated hats, so that helped us keep track of where she was in the mix of kids there. There were two ceremonies and hers was in the early morning. It went LATE , but we had great fun watching them all! Thanks for looking!!!!!!

More exciting bird news! I LOVE seeing the birds and I had a NEW visitor to my feeder! So immediately I looked it up in my BIRDS OF WISCONSIN book and there he was! A Rose Breasted Grosbeak. I included a page from the book for you to see. But I LOVE my pictures, as it was raining and he is little (another baby I believe) and his feathers are wet and goofy! What a beautiful little guy! WOW! Bird heaven at my house this Spring!!!!!! :0)

You are seeing the pictures a bit backwards. The eggs increasing and then hatching....but you get the idea! CLICK on the picture to see it bigger!

Both babies hatched out today.

Second egg working on hatching. See the hole and crack?

So, they have started hatching! The babies!!! Robin Momma laid 4 eggs, and then pushed one egg out of the nest. (Maybe she knew something about that egg.) So, then there were again three. And this morning the first baby was there, hatched last night and we could see the second egg was already breaking through. Click on the pictures to see them closer up. When I got home from work, there were 2 babies hatched! The one baby is wearing the shell like a hard hat! Hehehehe! Anyways, by tomorrow the third should hatch! The eggs were laid a day apart and I read that they incubate for 12-14 days and that came out perfectly right! :)

Isn't it something? She made the nest in our back fence. I pray the babies make it without being bothered by a cat!!!!!! Or other creature! It is such a miracle to be able to see it, I have to take the camera above my head to snap the pictures, so they are coming out well for not seeing as I snap the pictures.

I took this picture of a squirrel that keeps coming to eat under our bird feeder! He is not afriad and our Rufio barks his head off at him. He looks RIGHT AT YOU, like to say.......
YOU LOOKIN' AT ME??????
Haaaaahehehe, he is sort of cute right? Look at how his little feet are tucked into his chest. Hilarious!!!! I really feel like he is looking right at me as I took his picture. Wildlife is interesting to say the least! :0)

How much wood , would a woodchuck chuck....................LOOK what we saw this morning!
I could not believe it when this woodchuck was IN OUR YARD! This is a first for seeing a woodchuck here. Amber got these shots before it ran off. It is on the far left side of this picture with the bushes in the front. He was inside our chain link fence and sat up like a prarie dog. Hilarious! Then he checked out the neighbors yard on the other side of the fence !I wonder if we will see much of him around here? Rufio was not happy with his presence.....so I am always looking before I let Rufio outside! This woodchuch was as big as Rufio easily. THAT would be a problem!

One of the joys of Spring are the birds! I just love them, they come to my feeder and let me see their happy faces.

Well, a Robin has built a nest in our new fence! Ohhhhhhh boy, I hope that no cat gets up there to cause her or the babies any grief! Each day she has laid an additional egg! Now there are FOUR and I wonder if she is done. She is sitting in the nest on the one picture! I am wishing her luck, if this does not work out, I will not let a nest be built on the fence next year, because seeing those little babies destroyed will upset me. I hope they will be safe.
