Today, Amber and Anthony and Earl and I got the tree up! It was my idea this year to make room for it in our FAMILY room, where we sit most of the time, rather than the living room! I like it here! The kids choose the big red bulbs, which look great at night now and the fun mixture of ornaments from handmade Amber ornaments from when she was little to bought, and made by friends! Very fun! Looney Tunes tree skirt and all! The St. Nick is something I stitched years ago and the wooden tree there is my card holder in waiting! :0) Things are starting to look festive! YES yes!

Lovely!! And you can enjoy it so much more in the family room!!! Alex and I went to KMart and bought a new tree. Hours later-2/3s of the lights did not light!! Darn Martha Stewart, anyway. We took it back, so still no pretty tree!!!!!

Pretty tree! I won't be putting mine up until a week before Christmas. Lots of people here (in toronto) put theirs up on Christmas Eve!
