how to describe this? This is the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the juried festival. There are 170 artists who bring their exemplary work to exhibit and sell under tents at the beautiful and unique Milwaukee Lakefront, right by and in the museum as well. There were special attractions for the kids, and a silent auction and live music and a wine garden. There was the sand sculpture and many MANY beautiful pieces of all kinds of art to view, from wood, to metal, clay, fiber, fabric, jewelry, pictures, paintings, mixed media, quicky and unique. More than I can describe! Photos were discouraged, so I did the best I could. Here are a couple links to the artists pages of a few different things. Just amazing!

Anyways, these are some of the ones that blew us away! We wish that we had more $$$$ to be able to purchase some unique pieces from these people, but we felt honored to be able to view it all!
It was a good (very sweaty) fun art intake day! :)
By the way, we parked at Veterans Park and a Yellow School bus shuttled us over, that is what the picture of the back of people's head on a bus is. And then the city views from the parking area we felt was even kind of pretty. But it might have been heat stroke! Hehahaha!
