Repurposed Garden Chair

Earl and I stopped at a rummage yesterday and I picked up this old chair. It was a wood brown and looked not so nice. :) It screamed reuse me............so I painted it yesterday immediately when I got home. I used a stencil to add some interest and color. FUN!

The circle in the seat cut out allows for a plant to go inside there. I have a bucket in the hole and then a planter. I find it completely fun and repurposing the chair and making it brighter was just what it needed.

Here it is sitting in the garden spot next to an hibiscus and rose bush.

Happy gardening and repurposing. I think the chair needs a little fairy! I will keep my eye out for something on sale at the end of the season! :)

Hi Patti,
At first I wondered what the hole was for as it made me think of a commode. lol Glad to see it has a higher purpose.

It is adorable!

Cheers to my namesake. :)
