Affirmation Canvas Challenge:
My friend Marilyn,
http://wwwmarilyninmyroom.blogspot.com/
is having a challenge on her blog.

From the inspiration of Kelly Rae Roberts
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=46872
Kelly Rae does ffffffantastic collages and was recently published in Cloth Paper Scissors with a fantastic tutorial of how she does her process and we were challenged by Marilyn to attempt something similar! I really enjoyed this tremendously! We are swapping canvases 1 for 1 and this is the one I created to send to Marilyn for the challenge!

I have used collaging of papers, paint and hand drawing, not something I usually do, but then that is what a challenge is! :0)

It really was great fun and I am not sure if I am completely done yet, but she is resting while I think on it! Hope you enjoy seeing this and the affirmation statements are joyful to express as well! This was a fun challenge! Hugs,Patti

Pati!!! I love it!!! you draw soooo beautifully, I can feel the emotion of this woman- one can see it in her face!! How did you do that???? I love the turquoise touches that you put in at the end- it really makes everything pop and the affirmations are just perfect!! i have been thinking of you all day with the weather reports. At least you can move snow out of the way, water would be much more intrusive, so I am grateful that you are not being flooded out!!!!
I am not sure that Marilyn is going to be able to swap out any of these canvases!!! would have a hard time giving this one up for sure. I will cross my fingers and hope that it comes MY way!!!!
Hugs!!

Hi Patti, you always amaze me. Your figure is fantastic. The background with the shades of turquoise blue is wonderful . Love the little white dots in her hair. Great art work!
